Automatic Memorandum Clock Company, Ltd., London, 8 day walnut reminder clock, c1905
CONDITION:
these electromechanical clock are rarely seen (one sold in Sotheby's sale of Time Museum clocks). The movement rotates the top slotted disk in which an ivory tab, labeled with reminder notes, eventually falls through the slot at the selected time and trips the battery powered alarm in the base. The wood case has some age splits; the porcelain dial and beveled glass are fine. Original labels remain in the top lid and rear door. Ht 13"
